Hamburger Casserole

Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 5 lbs russet potatoes peeled and diced
- 1 onion diced
- 2 large cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups cheese shredded American or sharp cheddar
- mushrooms fresh or canned, optional
- garlic salt
- pepper
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 425°F.
- Season and brown hamburger with garlic salt and pepper. Drain the hamburger.
- Mix all the ingredients (except cheese) together in an oven safe pan. Add additional garlic salt and pepper.
- Bake in the oven for 40 minutes, remove, and stir.
- Bake an additional 20-30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- Top with cheese and bake until desired browning is reached.
