  • fresh ramps finely chopped
  • 2 blocks cream cheese (1 lb)
  • 1 lb crispy bacon crumbled
  • shredded cheese of choice
  • Optional ranch seasoning, dried fruits, nuts, jalapeño, dried beef


  • In a bowl, combine chopped ramps, softened cream cheese, and crumbled bacon.
  • Gradually add shredded cheese to the mixture, blending until well combined. Adjust the amount to your preferences.
  • Optional: add ranch seasoning, dried fruits, buts, jalapeño, or dried beef.
  • Shape into a ball and wrap with plastic wrap. Refrigerate at least 1-2 hours to firm up and meld flavors.
  • Before serving, roll the cheese ball in extra shredded cheese or finely chopped ramps for a decorative touch.
  • Serve with crackers or fresh veggies for dipping.
