Wasna (Corn Cake)
There’s nothing quite like the smell of corn cakes cooking in the fall air! But no matter the season, you can always enjoy these sweet, delicious cakes year-round.
- 5 cups parched corn use white corn flour
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 cups tallow or shortening
- Grind the corn well. Place in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the other ingredients, mix well and place the wasna in an oblong pan to serve.
