Easy Dill Pickles

Ingredients
  

  • 1 grape leaf
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 hot pepper
  • 1 rib celery cut small
  • 1 head of dill
  • 2 qt water
  • 1 qt vinegar
  • ¾ cup salt
  • 4 cucumbers sliced

Instructions
 

  • Place grape leaf, garlic, hot pepper, celery, and dill in a quart jar. Finish filling jar with sliced cucumbers.
  • In saucepan, combine water, vinegar, and salt, and bring to a boil for 5 min.
  • Pour over cucumbers and seal. Let stand for 2 weeks.
